CricketLive! makes Lord’s Debut

March 10, 2017 London – Visitors to the MCC Museum at the Lord’s Cricket Ground in London will be able to play their own ‘mini T20’ match on Cricket Live!, the web-connected cricket table game that’s part of the museum’s exhibition “A Century of Cricket Games”.

The MCC exhibition brings together a hundred years of cricket games and includes board games, card games as well as more interactive games. The foosball-sized cricket game created by California-based technology start-up ThrowMotion, Inc., brings Cricket to the table-top in a physical format with full 3-dimensional ball dynamics. The game reflects the future of technology-based, digitally connected, physical games. “We’re very excited to place our game at the M.C.C Museum and pleased that visitors to Lords, the Home of Cricket, will be able to take advantage of this unique game experience,” said Aditya Dayal, founder of Silicon Valley-based ThrowMotion. “We see this as an important step towards ThrowMotion cricket enjoying widespread use in the UK, whether it be in corporations, in social venues such as pubs, or in homes.”
